Lake Norman Elks #392 Helps Veterans Start Fresh

Lake Norman Elks Lodge #392 continues to demonstrate the Elks’ strong commitment to serving our nation’s veterans.

Since April 1, 2026, Lake Norman Elks #392 has provided an incredible 49 Welcome Home Kits to veterans transitioning into permanent housing.

Welcome Home Kits provide veterans with essential household items needed when moving into a new home. For a veteran transitioning from homelessness or housing instability, these everyday necessities can make a tremendous difference. More importantly, each kit is a reminder that our veterans are appreciated, supported, and never forgotten.

Forty-nine Welcome Home Kits in just over six months is an outstanding accomplishment! That means 49 veterans have received assistance from Lake Norman Elks as they begin a new chapter and make a new place feel like home.
